◇ Tissue Fixative Solution is used for preserving, fixing, and preventing the decay of human and animal tissues, preventing bacterial corrosion and tissue autolysis. It is suitable for sample fixation or preservation in departments such as surgery, biopsy, pathology, and gastroscopy. The solution has good tissue penetration, minimal shrinkage, and maintains tissues and cells in their most natural state, offering excellent preservation of most antigenic substances.
◇ 4% Neutral Formaldehyde Fixative Solution: The most commonly used fixative, prepared with a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 6.8–7.2. It has strong permeability, ensures uniform tissue fixation with minimal cellular damage, and helps maintain pH stability. The solution contains inhibitors that suppress formaldehyde polymer formation, aiding in the protection of most antigens. Its fixation effect and antigen preservation are superior to general 4% formaldehyde fixatives. It is suitable for routine HE staining, immunohistochemistry, PCR, and other procedures. It can be used for most pathological specimens without special requirements.
